The Kissingers..

Ever wanted to take a space holiday?Navigating those cosmic voids can be a pain.Let the Jet Set's lovely melodies guide you there.

Cracks in the space-time continuum and paranoid lunar cycles are par for the course, sure it's dark out there, but they can make you warm inside. If Bacharach had tread this path he might have collided with Arthur Lee.But now we only hear them faintly through the piped electro music playing in the air-locks.

All your memories of earth bound life will dissapear as the guitars chime.

As a five piece crew they have travelled down summertime highways and flown inner stratospheres armed only with some bubbling waves of music and a hot flask of tea....

Inpress review:

"...Hmmm,what's going on here? One way or another meets the Moog Cookbook meets Big Country, or something like that.Theme from Jetset, though its influences and touchstones are disparate to say the least, manages to rock and have fun in a way that wouldn't be out of place on the stage of Countdown-it's a refreshing change from the usual serious-browed rock garage-er than thou vogueing..." -Clem Bastow Inpress

Indie Initiatives Neil Wedd:

"...I have been waiting to see the Jet Set ever since I heard the CD. They didn’t disappoint. Having added a keyboard player to play the parts they had done on the CD, they started with a rush of pure new wave sounds. The keyboards, driving guitar and an interesting voice made you want to jump around. Fred Negro was enraptured as was I. As the songs tumbled out they seemed to have more of a psychedelic feel. Fred kept yelling out LOVE. Of course he meant Arthur Lee and Love. People came down the front, dancing a bit, but with huge smiles on their faces. Singer Darran was giving his all, his shirt covered in sweat. He danced like a dervish at times. Buy a copy of the CD. I really loved the band,  They interest me. I like the mixture of psychedelia and new wave. Bands like Died Pretty come to mind. -Neil Wedd
